Welcome to our home in the heart of the village of Horton-in Ribblesdale.  Here you will find a friendly smile & welcome from Johanne and Stephen at the The Willows Bed and Breakfast.

Are you coming to test your endurance on theYorkshire Three Peaks Challenge ?  (Walking or running Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside, Ingleborough in under 12 hours)  Or just visiting the Yorkshire Dales National park for: a charity walk, a spot of sightseeing, steam train spotting, fell walking or running, cycling, motor biking, or just some simple relaxtion ?  May be you are just passing through on The Pennine Bridleway, Pennine Way, Dales Way or even walking from Lands End to John O'Groats ?  Exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is a fantastic spot for refreshing spring, summer & autumn breaks.  Also an ideal place & enjoy some of the lovely deep snow in winter, we have had here over the past few winters.

Whatever the reason, we welcome you ALL: tourists, sightseers, walkers, ramblers, climbers, mountain bikers, cyclists, motorcyclists, or horse riders.  Perhaps you are  just looking for a romantic break ?  You will find it here at The Willows in our beautifully comfortable rooms.  A friendly smile will greet you from Johanne and Stephen.  The kettle will be always on for you, to sit beside our lovely log burning stove to take coffee / tea and cake.  

Please Note: Many HUNDREDS of walkers are looking for accommodation EVERY weekends during the walking season / charity walking season. This walking season runs yearly, from the START of APRIL to END of October.  Horton-in-Ribblesdale village is set in the National Park which has strict guide lines for the few B&B / Hotel owners.  Unfortunately, there are too few rooms to cope with the many hundreds of walkers that wish to stay over in Horton-in-Ribblesdale village at weekends.  We we advise you to book many months in advance of your stay.  Please ensure you book your stay up to 9-12 months in advance, to avoid disappointment of not being able to book a room.

At the Willows we do our best in making you drift off into that perfect, restful sleep.  We only use exceptionally comfortable, high quality memory foam mattresses - on every bed!  You may never want to sleep on your old bed again.  All room recently are individually designed and decorated in a chic boutique stlye.  Our three bedrooms have their own newly fitted hi-spec bathrooms. (Two En-suites and one private large bathroom to Whernside room, just one stop over bedroom corridor.)

Warm, comfortable surroundings in the larger than average bedrooms for a home, in a quaint Yorkshire Dales Village. Sleep peacefully between freshly ironed Egyptian cotton sheets, Non-allergic synthetic duvets &  fresh clean fluffy pillows - All for the best possible sleep.  Snowy white towels & many extra toiletries & ladies products are provided to enhance your stay in our home.

Each of our tea trays in the rooms, have an over-flowing selection of : teas - herbal, camomile, peppermint, fruit. Hot chocolate, coffee & de-caff, plus latte.  Also included in each rooms are delicious individually wrapped biscuits, bottles of water.  Plus an alarm clock for your early morning start, Hair dryer.  Flat screen TV/DVD. Free WiFI through out our home.

Wanting an extra early morning start on the fells ? Then no problem ! We will be up for you, to makebreakfast from 6am.  Firstly, you can start on a vast selection of many different cereals, local creamy fresh yoghurts, fresh fruit juice, extra pots of breakfast nuts & seeds & fresh fruit.  We ALSO have on offer you if you wish - a choice of one of our delicious breakfast sandwich.  Of either bacon / sausage / or fresh fried egg / veggie sausage - Our Big Full Yorkshire Breakfast starts from 7:30am until 9:00am..

Please bring your slippers, so you can take off your heavy walking boots / fell shoes / trainers at the front door of our home.  Take off & store all your wet muddy gear in the inside porch area by the front door. Warm yourself beside our lovely log burning stove.  The kettle will be on ready for refreshing tea/coffee & cake.

Mobile reception CAN NOT be guaranteed on all parts of 3 Peak area.  Coverage can be very sporadic & can leave you without any coverage on some of the fells and villages.  Vodaphone, Orange/T-Mobile & '3' network are the only providers who provide limited reception.

Please Note:Between the first week in April  and last week in Oct 2012 - there is a minimum TWO NIGHT stay at weekends and B. Hols. (Boxing Day & New Years day also require a minimum two night booking)
